2.Explain why it is difficult to get the bacteria to take in plasmid (include what we did in the lab to get the plasmid inside the bacteria) and why the bacteria may choose to not keep the plasmid.
3.What is the purpose of the ampicillin in this experiment?
4.Explain why the bacteria with the plasmid would have ditched the plasmid or died if they had not been isolated.
5.Conclusion: In a cohesive paragraph, describe how scientists created the recombinant DNA used in this lab (pGLO plasmid). Also describe & give examples of how scientists apply this recombinant DNA & transformation technique to scientific research (In your paragraph include why the gfp gene is a useful genetic tag).
