H.W Complete this scientific method worksheet (click on the name of the w.s. to open the document, this also applies to viewing the lab)
ALSO Read the Mealworm Behavior Lab and think about which variable you want to experiment with.  You do not need to print the lab, a class set will be available to you tomorrow.  Here is a list of the variables that will be available to you tomorrow:

H.W. Outline chapter 1: Sections 1.1-1.2 using the format found in this document (click on the word "document" to open).  In a nutshell this is basically a cornell note taking style (you may or may not be familiar with this).  You can print the document and write your notes directly on there or you may follow the format using your own paper.  Try your best and email me if you have any questions.
AND
If you did not do so in class today, you must cover your textbook tonight with a brown paper bag and bring your covered book back to school to show me.  No, a picture is not sufficient.  I want to physically see your wrapping skills.

1. Warm-up: Interpreting Graphs #1- Time Spent on Course Topics in Biology (Absent? this can be found in the "What did I miss in Biology" box upon your return.
2. Science Safety Test (Absent?  Make arrangements with me ASAP to make this up)

H.W. Bring a brown grocery bag to class tomorrow.  Also bring your ID card or blue schedule.  We're getting our Biology textbooks tomorrow and will be having a book wrapping party in class.  Forgot how to cover a text book?  Watch the video below:

AND for those of you that forgot (?!?) to have your  Classroom Expectation, Laboratory Safety Verification and Laboratory Donation Form signed- then add that to your to do list.  I will also accept lab donation fees throughout the week.

1.  Take & print (in color) a new photo or find a photo within the last 6 months that shows you doing something biological.  What does that mean......you have to discover that for yourself.  Also, either on the back of the photo or on a sheet of paper you must justify why your picture meets the requirements.  Have fun with this and make it look nice!
2. After reading the Classroom Expectations for Biology and the Safety Regulations for Science Standards.
print and sign the Classroom Expectation, Laboratory Safety Verification and Laboratory Donation Form.
3. Read and sign the lab donation letter ($15 donation)
